Help Baby Birds

Toronto Wildlife Centre

My relationship with the Toronto Wildlife Centre began about 6 years ago, when they helped me trap a sick squirrel which was hanging around outside my apartment. After that, I did some pro bono online ad work for them which won an award from Bell (and sent me to the Cannes Lions, JUST SAYING) and also helped out from time to time with their web site.

This, the Help Baby Birds campaign, started as a collaboration between myself and an ad agency in Toronto, but after they had trouble finding the groove, I was asked to do the whole thing, concept, print and web. It was originally set to run only in 2010, but ended up being used in 2011 and 2012 as well.

I know it's not a big deal really, but I do enjoy seeing these posters on the subway, alongside the usual MS Paint-inspired ads for churches and loan sharks.
